Objective
Create a photorealistic charcoal drawing of a self portrait using grid transposition techniques
I created this 24” x 36” portrait based on a reference image and using grid transposition techniques and charcoal pencils. I actually drew it upside-down.
Below is the final result. Ideally, I would go back in and darken portions of this drawing to increase the contrast and make it a closer match to the photo.
